The Dolphins have released the dates for training camp. They are as follows:
July 22 - Rookies and other select players will report to the team's training facilities
July 24 - The rookies will have their first practice
July 27 - Veterans report
July 28 - First full-squad practice
With rookies reporting on July 22, the time to sign the four remaining unsigned draft picks is shortening. I expect negotiations to heat up quickly, especially with WR Ted Ginn, after the July 4 holiday.
* In other news, QB Daunte Culpepper has had his hearing on the grievance filed against the Dolphins postponed until July 18. Poor weather delayed a flight and there were concerns about the location of the hearing due to witness availability. The delay really makes no difference to the case since there are no practices currently ongoing and none scheduled to take place again until training camp begins in late July.
